Dont Forsake the Assembly of God Video – Hebrews 10:26

People can sometimes have a half hearted commitment to meeting with other believers and attending church. Especially over Summer Season we can neglect the importance of meeting together and “forsake the fellowship”. While holidays and rest periods are vital to a healthy spirituality, we must be careful that we don’t allow these times to become an over indulgence in selfishness and laziness.

This video highlights the attitude which can sneak into our lives that causes us to cut ties from church over the holiday period. The problem is that it can cut us off from community. We need the community of believers for accountability, encouragement and fellowship. So while it’s ok and important to have a rest, we must be careful that we don’t completely cut the things of God off from our life during this time. This video encourages your church to continue in the things of God over the holiday period.
